With over sixteen years behind the guitar and microphone across Newcastle’s live music circuit, Mitch has spent well over a decade with bands such as Jupiter Menace, We The Betrayed and Alias, on the region’s best-known pub and club stages. Now stepping out as a dedicated soloist, he brings that seasoned musician energy and polish into a dynamic, stripped-back format.
Mitch’s sound cuts across five decades of music. Rather than sticking to the standard acoustic playbook, his sets seamlessly bridge timeless 70s classics, crowd-favourite pop anthems, and modern radio hits with foot-stomping country tracks. Mitch has been fortunate to share the stage with bands such as The Getaway Plan, Silverstein, Sienna Skies, One Vital Word and The Black Sorrows, all of which have influenced his unique musical repertoire. Mitch reimagines classic rock staples, 90s grunge powerhouses, and heavy metal anthems through resonant acoustic arrangements that hit hard while keeping the room engaged.
