Dean Kyrwood spent 5 years as the bass player, backing vocalist and released five independent albums with Newcastle outfit Little Hornet. Since parting ways, he has released an EP Aqua Profonda, which has been in the top ten numerous times on mp3.com.au from 2000-2005. In late 2005 Dean was a top 5 finalist in "best male vocal" and" pop "categories of the ABC music awards. Dean has been doing solo shows and now full band gigs on a weekly basis in Newcastle, Central Coast and Sydney venues...and more recently supporting artists such as Abby Dobson (Leonardo's Bride) and Delta Goodrem, Richard Clapton and Nick Barker. The recording of Deans first full album is near completion with local super-producer Karl Brandstater, and sees Dean taking a new style direction with an accoustic jazz/soul/pop/dance fusion.
