Duncan Woods is a Singer-Songwriter based in Newcastle, Australia. He has spent many summers touring in Europe both as a soloist and also with several band projects. Duncan still continues to play solo and is working on new acoustic material to be released in late 2024. Skating the edges of hip-hop, neo-soul, funk and pop, Duncan’s style is difficult to pin down. Part of what draws him to creating music is the wonderful variety in different genres, indeed, Duncan tries to avoid the idea of genre altogether. Deep introspective lyrics that ask the burning questions of existence and the human condition are carried between snappy grooves and gentle soulful melodies with a sprinkling of dry humour throughout.
